I would like to personally welcome you to Pi
Beta Phi formal recruitment! As the Vice
President of Membership for 2010, I cannot

Pi
Beta Phi recognizes the extreme importance of formal
recruitment by putting so much of ourselves into the
process. Our goal is to make the experience special
and memorable for both our active members and those
going through recruitment. We cannot wait to show
you how much fun we have together as a chapter! With
the incredible amount of work that goes into making
recruitment what it is, we would be lost without the
help of our families and Pi Phi alumnae. We are
truly thankful for all the support we have!
As
you head into an exciting time of your life, you
will encounter so many new and interesting
opportunities, especially those leaving home for the
first time. Here at USC, we are lucky to have many
options, however, I highly encourage you to go
through the formal recruitment process, regardless
of any doubts you may have. USC is such a fabulous
school, however I know that being a member of Pi
Beta Phi has enhanced my college career
exponentially by the opportunities and experiences
that have been made available through membership in
Pi Phi.
The USC Greek Community is full of people from all
over the world, and I strongly believe there is a
place for everyone! At Pi Beta Phi, our members are
involved in all sorts of activities including USC
Athletics, USC Song Girls, Trojan Dance Force, Troy
Camp, J.E.P (Joint Educational Project), USG
(Undergraduate Student Government), and much more! I
cannot express enough how incredible, fulfilling,
and fun sorority life can be. I look forward to
meeting you in our beautiful home in the Fall of
2010!
Pi
Phi Love,

Vice President of Membership
Details on Sorority Recruitment at USC
The
Panhellenic Council's formal sorority recruitment
process at USC allows girls interested in joining a
sorority to meet each chapter over a period of
several days, culminating in Greek bid night.
Sorority recruitment at USC includes multiple
rounds, through which new members narrow their
choices in a mutual selection process to find the
chapter in which they feel most at home. All
throughout the process, girls going through
recruitment have recruitment counselors to guide
them and answer any questions they may have.
